Me and my friends decided to take off tennis for a month to do some speed and weight trainning. But the temptation to play overwhelmed us today, we ended up hitting some afterschool. BOY DID WE SUCKED !! Our footwork was off, our swing was a disaster, our volley and serve, i dont want to even mention it. We were really frustrated with all these results we got. On the bright side, our speed for getting to the ball was much more faster than before, we just lost our positions and motions. A week without tennis and that happened, cant imagine a month. Can anyone offer any tips on how to improve your speed and reaction speed without actually playing tennis. And also your best footwork drills.
