Is Max 200G for me?

My current stick is a Puma BB Super. It has 50% Graphite / 50% Fiberglass construction and very soft to hit with. I really dig the flexing and ball feel of this racquet. However, the PCS handle is showing its age and has some free play on mine. I'm having a hard time finding a reasonably priced Estusa equivalent with the fixed handle. So I'm looking for a substitute. Is the 200G going to hit as sweet as the BB Super? Is the power going to be less given the 85 head size? Which 200G version would you recommend for the best hitting experience if I'm into racquet flex and ball feel like an old woodie? Thanks!

It can't really compare 200G with BB Super. If you want the "racquet flex and ball feel like an old woodie" the earlier 200G is the way to go. You can get them under $100 any time.

You could also check out the HEAD Club Pro.

What's the stiffness rating of 200G? How about the BB Super? How do I spot the earlier 200G?

Read somewhere that the 200g's flex is mid 40s (??).
I have a BB Super. Not sure about the flex, but I'd guess high 50s. It actually feels comfortably crisp to me.

Try it. When I was making the change out of the 200G, I used an Estusa Power Beam Pro, which ostensibly is something like the BB frame you use. BOTH flex nicely. I cannot recall why I dropped that Estusa!

Is BB Winner going to hit like BB Super but softer with 30% graphite / 70% fiberglass (??) construction?
The BB Winner is much more flexy IMO and I prefer it to the Super (although my Super may be a bit highly strung). The Max 200G is totally unlike either of the BBs. It's heavier .. More buttery feel to it.

MAX 200G is a classic, solid and plush, you owe it to yourself to try it out.

Head microgel is nothing like it, even though its very flexy for a modern frame. I think the Dunlop has a flex in the low 40s to give you some idea, 85 sq inch head (versus flex of 57 with 95 sq in). Dunlop feels so much more solid. I havent played the BB.

Microgel is my go to frame currently and it plays very nice for me, great spin and control, and has a comfortable but annoying creakiness in the hoop. Miles apart from a max 200G.

Not sure what strings u using in the BB but the Dunlop is best with low tension soft strings like natty gut or a soft nylon 48-52 ballpark. Opens up the sweetspot and gives decent power.
