Is my grip too large?

My racquet slips a lot when I do power forehands. The grips is 4 1/2 with a Head Super Comp overgrip.

I do feel comfortable with the grip size and I measured my hand size: 4 5/8 inches from the tip of ring finger to the second crease in the palm, and when I hold the racquet using eastern grip, I can fit exactly one finger in the space between my ring finger and the palm of the hitting hand.

I don't have this problem with my other racquet, 4 3/8 with a Wilson Pro overgrip. The shape of grips of the two racquets are slightly different though. I swiched to this 4 1/2 racquet a couple of weeks ago, and now I start to have elbow pain, which never occurred before.

Is 4 1/2 the right size for me? Is the slip caused by wrong grip size or bad overgrip or anything else? Does the elbow problem have anything to do with racquet?

what kind of racquet do you have? Different racquets have different butt caps. You can try this.... when I put on the overgrip, I would wrap the butt cap twice then go up the handle (make two turns on the butt cap). This essentially bulks up the butt cap and it'll help prevent slippage.
