Jack Kramer commemorative racquets?

Hi all!
I hit with a guy today that had an interesting wilson. It was some sort of modern racquet (had the PWS) but was painted too look like it was made of wood and had the details of a Jack Kramer. I was told it was some limited edition racquet, but I never heard of such a thing. Was this something through TW (like the Tour 90 pj on the PS 85) or a wilson release? also, what racquet model was this originally?

It was a special limited release several years ago. Was national, not just a specific vendor. They can still be found at a few places, but the price tag is pretty steep!

They were # 2000 released in the US and #200 released in Canada. It is 95 head size, 6.5 flexibility and headlight. They were going for $200-300 in the US when they first came out, but I recently got a new one unstrung off of **** for $63. I haven't talked to anyone who actively used this stick to play and was curious if they liked it?

The Jack Kramer Millennium edition was based on the HPS 6.5, but instead had 16 mains instead of 18 mains on the HPS 6.5. Racket is fairly light, maybe 10.5 ounces strung. I bought one out of curiosity, but was disappointed in the way it played. I usually like flexy frames, but JK Millennium was too powerful and hard to control (gut wasn't helping).

HI,

I had three of them back in 2002 - 2003 when they were being cleared out for $99. I thought they would be cool to play. I strung one up and could not have been more disappointed. To give you an idea, I think it plays similar to the Tour 95.
