James Blake's Anthem LIVE! event photos

Hi.
I'm wondering if there's any chance that anyone else here attended James Blake's Anthem LIVE! event at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, on Thursday, December 6.
I was there and I wore a shirt that said "HUG ME JAMES". The announcer saw it, pointed it out to James as he was changing sides during his match, and James called me down to the court for a hug.
I am hoping that someone was able to get video or pictures of that interaction that I could possibly have for my viewing pleasure!

Please let me know as soon as possible! I drove 6 hours from Pennsylvania to get that hug...needless to say, it was worth EVERY minute and every penny I spent to get down there!!

Thanks!

It was awesome!! I'm actually mentioned in the first two paragraphs (not my name, but I know it's me) of an article on TennisWeek.com, and there's a photo of the interaction between James and I! He's so sweet!

Then they give you a link to see photos (I'm #6)-- http://www.dailypress.com/sports/dp-tennis,0,844670.photogallery

Who let this troll through the door?

I was not there, but that's awesome that you got to go down to the court!!!

Cheers,

Congratulations!

Great pix and wonderful lifelong memory. I'm currently reading Breaking Back -Blake is an impressive individual. I will be going for a week to Saddlebrook in March - maybe I'll get a chance to meet him. Was there earlier this year and saw him practicing with Mardy Fish - but didn't want to bother them.

Will you be looking to repeat the experience at another Blake tournament?

I'm re-reading his book now; he autographed a cover of one of my copies for me quickly when I saw him at the US Open this year (held the book up, through the security guards, and he signed it as they were escorting him off the court). Good luck in meeting him! He's such a genuinely nice person and inspiration! He's my hero, that's all there is to it. The book is fabulous!
I plan on going to the US Open for 3 days this year, so hopefully I'll get to see him play a match (I've never seen him play a competitive match, it's been exhibitions and practices). So I'm looking forward to the chance to REALLY cheer him on when it counts for something, ya know?

Also, about the book... I can't tell you how many times I started crying reading that book. He really makes you feel like you are sitting there going through everything he did WITH him, especially when he talks of his father. Wow. He's been through so much and it's a testament to his character that he persevered and set an example for all of us: that we should never take anything for granted and live each day to the fullest.
He's inspired me to do that, and to do as he did: Never give up on my tennis. I'm determined to get back in shape and improve my game, above what it was in my high school and college playing years.
THAT is why I wanted to hug my hero, for giving that inspiration to me!

I love your enthusiasm. I did get to see him at the US Open 2007 - in a tough long match with big shifts in momentum. He had the opportunities to take it, but Tommy Haas managed to eek it out. It was a very interesting and entertaining match. Very exciting player to watch - a crowd pleaser. Good luck on seeing him in 2008!

Oh, we won't talk about how I cried for like 2 hours after that match...what was it, 4 match points he had?
I just want to see a night match with him in it! I've never been to a night match at the Open, and I want my first one to be watching James! *fingers crossed*
