2 Roland Garros , 1 Wimbledon, 2 US Open finals, 2 IO Finals, a win at Madrid over one of the toughest ever assembled clay court fields ( primes Borg,Vilas,Orantes,Panatta and Nastase), a few more wins and several major semis and quarters.

He also lost a DC final, in 1975 and could win this title as the captain of his country´s national team in 1980.

The Prague Lion was one of the big names of the very highly entertaining pre Golden era, which goes from 68 to 73.

He beat , except Laver, all the big names of his era, and most of them he beat them at majors, like Smith at the USO semis, Ashe at the USO semis, Nastase at the FO F, Newcombe at the USO.

superbly fit, a very aknowledged fighter and a complete all round game were his trademarks...who remembers him playing? and his legendary early 70´s matches?

Great player, I remember a great final he lost in 5 sets against Vilas in Kitzbuhel in 1977. But I think that other players didn't like him, I don't know exactly why.
