First off let me just tell you that im a noob at this stuff, some of you might remember me asking tips on how to apply lead tape. Well at least I got that part down, finally. Im using Unique lead tape, 1/4 inch wide strips, 1 inch=.25grams. I got tips from the TW help section and from this site- http://www.tennis4all.com/info/racquets/customize.shtml . So I decided to apply my lead at 3 & 9 o'clock, to help stabilize my racquet on mishits, plus ive found many threads that putting lead at 3 and 9 holds the biggest benefit. I applied four 4 inch strips to 3 & 9= 4 grams total added weight, I understand that placing the lead in these places makes the racquet more head heavy. But for some reason when I swing my racquet now it feels like a significant change, it doesnt feel that hl at all anymore....The RDS 001 MP according to TW's updated specs is 8pts hl, so in my adding 4 grams of lead to the 3 & 9 approximately how much did i alter the balance? Is there some sort of conversion for this? Basically i want to make my racquet more stable and swing slightly heavier, while maintaining its similiar hl balance i started with. My goal after this whole process is to achieve a total weight of around 11.9oz or 12oz, thx.
