Legg Mason 2007

I visited the tournament web site. This year's Legg Mason seems to be the one with the weakest draw since I remember. Roddick is there, Murray too, but no one else from the tennis elite. Last year we had Lleyton Hewitt and James Blake at least. They are not coming this year. What's wrong with this tournament? Opinions?

It's too early for them to post the draw. Right now it's just a preliminary players' field. Besides, the list includes the best player - Safin, as well as some other top players.

Uh yeah...the tourny isn't until the end of July/beginning of August. Wait at least two weeks before to get a better idea of the player field.

Just because there's not a lot of who you consider the tennis elite doesn't mean there isn't going to be quality matches. Even though it isn't the final list, there's a lot of top notch players among the list and I consider myself fortunate to be able to even see them play in person because there's a lot of people who can't.

Well, I certainly don't consider Safin among the best players anymore. Also, Legg Mason draws actually tend to worsen as the starting date of the tournament gets closer. I think players are not very happy about the 200% humidity
