Link for those needing rotator cuff exercises...

Everyone,

For the past couple weeks, I have been feeling some pain in the front of my dominant shoulder. Not super shearing pain, but the occasional stinger when I hit a high backhand or forehand... and then there would be soreness afterward. Anyway, I did a little research and the symptoms seemed to indicate a slight strain of the rotator cuff. A little more research, and I found this site:

http://familydoctor.org/265.xml

I've been doing the 4 exercises listed there for the past couple days... and WOW!!! They go right to the spot that has been hurting lately, particularly exercises #1 and #2.

Anyway, this link may have been posted before, but I thought I would share it for those that might be experiencing a similar strain or are looking to do some preventive maintenance. If you decide to do these, be sure to use low weights and ice the shoulder down for about 20 minutes after you are done like the instructions say.

Many thanks. I'm going to try these. I have brusitis in the rotator cuff so it might be too late for me to benifit from them until I deal with that.

it's already there for a long time with many other links

you just don't read what's posted here. your loss.

Marius, why be a jerk?

So, I see that the link I posted is in your copious list of great fitness sites. What's the harm in reposting it again? Obviously, "dmastous" hadn't seen it, so it was a good pointer for him.

If you look at my other posts and threads, you will see that I do use the search function of the forum and that I research my posts responsibly (which is more than I can say for a lot of people). In fact, I have acknowledged and used the information you have posted previously (and have even been complimentary of you or defended some of your research)... please see my posts these threads:

When I posted this thread earlier today, I had just finished doing the exercises and was marveling at how they seemed to target the weak area that I was having trouble with perfectly. I did not see any threads on the first couple pages addressing this particular subject, so I threw it up on a spur of the moment. Since this link is on your list of shoulder related sites, I assume that you don't have a problem with the information. Therefore, why make a snide comment if it is posted again and someone benefits by it?

(You're better than that.)
