Ok, so I was watching some classic Youtube matches, particularly Venus vs. Graf at Wimbledon 1999, and Venus' service motion is so different than today. Take a look. Interesting.

Personally I think Venus' service motion now is much more smooth and "prettier to watch"...however, her old one (which is reminiscent of Serena's motion) is more consistent. She used to hit bombs consistently. Nowdays, her serve can be amazing or can cause her problems with double faults. I think it's because her newer service motion has more components to it and can break down a lot easier than the more simplistic one she had in the late 90s. Although it is more pleasing to look at.
