Looks like West Coast viewers are about to be hosed again!

ESPN is about to go off the air at 9:00am PST but NBC won't start broadcasting out here on the West Coast until noon. So if the rain stops and play resumes between Federer and Grojean in the meantime, we don't get to see anything!!! People on the East Coast will get to see it live but we on the West Coast will have to sit around for 3 hours pulling our hair out in front of "The Price is Right" or the "Today" show! We'll have to wait until noon PST to see it on tape. By that time the whole world will already know the result.

NBC's policy of "NOON IN ALL TIME ZONES" is really moronic!! What idiot thought of that anyway??? Obviously he or she does not live on the West Coast! :x  :(

Well, if it keeps raining, you guys might actually get the live coverage. Not sure what we're going to get here, but probably some taped matches.

Well, it looks lke ESPN changed their mind at the last minute and decided to stay on the air. They're replaying the Davenport-Sharapova match but if the rain stops they may resume coverage of the Federer-Grojean match. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Could someone let me know what is being shown on espn & nbc right now on the west coast? I'm at work but live really close by so I can go pop a tape in the vcr. wimbledon.org says tennis is being played right now.

We're hosed here in Central time as well. Fedex and Grosjean are playing live right now (12:45 pm) and NBC is showing Williams and Mauresmo, and ESPN is showing Davenport and Sharapova. My first day home from work so I can see men's semi-final matches and what do I get? Women from yesterday...who cares...

Man that sucks. Really sucks. Did I mention how much I hate ESPN and NBC?

I was calling around trying to find someone who's at home to tape the match, but I guess I won't bother now.

Yup, ESPN and NBC manages to screw us in the end after all!! ESPN is showing women's golf right now while Federer and Grojean are playing live at Wimbledon. NBC won't start broadcasting out here on the West Coast for another hour yet. Who knows what they'll be showing when they come on? More Serena-Mauresmo on tape instead of the live Federer or Roddick matches? They are both playing right now since they moved the Roddick-Ancic match to Court 1.

Why would NBC NOT be showing live tennis right now on the East Coast? I mean aren't they on until 5pm EST? Both Federer and Roddick are playing right now and they'd rather show a taped match from yesterday? What kind of distorted world do they live in? I think these people are deliberately trying to kill tennis in this country!

Honestly, I think the way the major networks are heading, we are in a pretty much hopeless situation. However, in a few years (1-2?) we may be able to get live streaming videos from the championships themselves.... I wouldn't mind pay a few bucks to see a good match (aka Federer Vs Grojean)

... wait..hoping.waiting...

Anyone tried wimbledon.org? Is the quality worth it?

This is really pitiful for you Pac. time prople . Do you do better with AO? I've concluded that the optimum TV viewing happens in EST with the French/Canadian version of ESPN kicking in. (Ottawa/Quebec) They have the ESPN right s but are able/willing to show tennis as it is really happening, and they don't give a damn what the rest of the world is showing. Vive rds. LOL
