M-Speed / LM prestige / M-fil 300

I´m about to leave my Pure Drives now. Been using PD´s since they was launched ´97 in sweden.

Now to my questions:

I´v been trying the Dunlop m-fil 300 and it was a bad experience. Tried many different types of strings and tensions. Even tried to put some lead on but that racket was a no no for me. Now i´m about to try either LM prestige MP or the "new" Fischer m-speed pro no.1 98´. I´v also considerd the Fischer Pro no. 1 and no.1 FT.

Are any of those above mentioned rackets similar to the M-fil 300 or do they have a more solid feel.

I want a solid racket; Like the Head Pro Tour. The Pro Tour was my choise back in the 90´s.

in march in the us ( not sure about sweden) the yonex rds 001 is coming in stock. im at the aussie open annd i bought 1 and it is amazing more topspin then any other frame i have ever tried it is so good

I got to have a brief hit with the MSpeed a few days ago. I don't know what the string job was, but it wasn't what I would call a 'solid' frame. I was disappointed with it, because I quite enjoy some of the other frames that Fischer has put out. This one just didn't seem to be anything special - a little tinny if anything. Good spin potential, control was okay, low powered - just a very vanilla flavoured experience.

Henwal, what didn't you like about the M-Fil 300? To answer your question, I think the M-Speed is a great racquet. I'm not sure what Galain didn't exactly like about it but it is a very solid stick and very worthy of a demo.

henwall,
I currently own the LM prestige MP, and The fischer M speed. They are both nice frames, and both are solid. The LM Prestige is actually more powerful and has very good feel. The M speed is lower powered than the LMP and much lower than the Bab PD, but the M speed is very solid racquet. The other racquet to try in the solid category is the Ncode 6.1 95. I also disliked the dunlop. Start with the M speed and you may look no further.

Well, I did not like the feel of the racket. I felt like the racket was too "shaky" My serve and backhand was ok, but my forehand, well, I simpley had too many frameshots.

I will demo m-speed ´98 and the pro no.1 320 g ´98 and see which i like the most.

The reason I don´t go for the LM prestige yet is because Head have just this last week changed dealer and head sweden told me it will take many weeks before they are up and running..,..

Fischer, by the way, is represented in sweden by former top 20 ATP player Magnus Gustafsson.

In sweden they now have a offer to buy 3 m-speed + a thermo bag for 3600 swedish kroner. ( 1 US $ = 7,50 SEK )
