Maxi Edge? Anyone ever use it?

LOL. Just kidding. I came in tonight and the weed eater string was on my table and I thought hmmm.

Question: What is the wackiest thing you have strung a racket with and how did it play? Weed eater. Fishing line. kite string. Yarn. Piano wire. Guitar strings. Etc..

I'm not sure as I've not tried it; but I'd speculate that piano strings would start cutting through the graphite because of it's ability to withstand lots of tension though it can be quite thin.

Comeon nobody has ever experimented with anything before? I'll bet ya yarn would grip the fuzz on the ball. I'm looking around my house now to see what I have lying around. My wife has thread and yarn. I have fishing line and weedeater line.

I'm guessing thread couldn't withstand but I'll bet yarn may.

What test did ya use. You may be able to use higher test fishing line.
