Medvedev about Big 3 egoism

In an interview with a Russian newspaper, Medvedev praised Djokovich, how he's a genuine guy who cares about people around him, fights for low-ranked players. Federer and Nadal just care about themselves, he said. Is that a fair assessment, what do you think?

Medvedev also later said that once he started to participate in GSs, he stopped caring who won unless it was him. So is the pot calling the kettle black? Is Medvedev more egoistic than Federer and Nadal? I never hear about Medvedev supporting player rights or donating massively to charity, which both Federer and Nadal do.

Exactly. You never HEAR about Medvedev doing charity or something along those lines, because it's not in the media.
Unless it's Fedal doing it,then it's front page.

Also were Federerr or Nadal doing massive donations and charity work when they had 0-2 slams?

Translation:
I heard that Djokovic still cares about players as a whole. Not sure about Nadal, but Federer just always cares about his own interest, which is also fine. That is why he is where he is. If he cared for anyone else, he would not have won 20 GS. Djokovic thinks about tennis in general, about the players, at least from the top 100, so that they all would earn more.

Then doesn't it mean that he's not sure about Nadal and only pinpointing Federer as selfish?

I reckon he would know better than anyone here, don’t you think?

ughh ohh.. med forgets we are living in the 'woke' snowflake era where you can't hurt the 'powers that be' feelings or you will be ostracized. you can't be praising people that aren't that popular and go against the grain. LOL. You know that upsets the establishment.

No shock fed is all about himself. Anyone that puts their initials and the slam count on their clothing BEFORE they win the slam, is a sociopath/egomaniac all out for themselves and believes their own hype/publicity. . I'm glad the clown lost all his GOAT Status and has no pot to pee in now. Karma always comes to collect. "Twice the pride, Double the fall"

This is an old interview from March 2019 when Medvedev was on the precipice of top 10, one. He basically defaulted to 'they say' rather than affirming any definitive opinion, two. Bad reporting by OP, implied deception should be worthy a quick ban imo.

We all know this. The Nadal one I think is a lie but Federer for sure only thinks of himself. It’s not even a bad thing, Federer fans are just extremely insecure about it on this thread.

Federer started his Roger Federer Foundation to help kids in Africa in 2003 when he was 22. Nadal too entered charity in early 20s.

Not only medvedev today none of the Next Gen are involved in philanthropic works. Zverev may be an exception when he donated his AO prize money last years to the bush fires aid

Federer was the first among tennis legends to heavily engage in charity works. He has raised and donated more than 80 million $ as of present for education of underpriveleged kids in Africa.

No wonder lame ass TTW haters will not acknowledge that.

Why do you include Nadal in that group? He clearly excludes him because he doesn't know.

It's an interesting perspective from Medvedev, given that he has spent more time as a journeyman than some other Slam winners we've seen in the past 30-40 years. However, I think he's looking at it from a time when Fed is at a very different point in his career.

Did you miss the part where he said "it is also fine"? Or would that have destroyed your nonsense clickbait topic? What a nothing-burger!

Surely the massive donations and charity work didn't start in 03 and 05 respectively. At least it wasn't important to the press to portray them as philanthropists, the emerging rivalry was the center of attention back then, also still no threat from THE guy.

Djokovic's selflessness is there for all to see when he wrecks the place if his opponent dares to take a point off him. His selflessness pushes him to want to win every title going, get all the prize money and all the points and remain #1 for the foreseeable future. He opted to play a grass tournament, on one of the sunniest days in Wimbledon's history, under the roof because he thought it was to his advantage.

So selfless.

Djokovich, how he's a genuine guy who cares about people around him

We're talking about a guy that is so f***ing cowardly and selfish that he won't even do the bare minimum to protect his loved ones.

Medvedev said it's what he heard. He then immediately added that he's basically gossipping because these rumours don't have any basis and that he personally doesn't know who out of the Big 3 is pursuing only their own interests and who cares about others.
