Because Djokovic and Federer actually were 1 match away from meeting at 2006 Wimb whether it was Novak's 2nd year on tour or not.
He had better results than Fed in his 2nd year, it's unfair to bring Novak of 2006 up don't you think? What was Fed doing in 1999?

I have already answered you. It isn't about Nole being too young in 2006, which he was, it's about the fact that they were actually 1 match away from meeting which is the main subject of this thread.

Same thing with Nadal and Fed at 2004 AO. Yes, Nadal was very young, but there was only 1 match standing between the 2 meeting each other.

Who do you think would have won that fedovic match?
I don't know, but for his pre-2011 standards, Djokovic was quite impressive on clay that year, would have been a nice match IMO.

Also, assuming all other results that year were the same, Djokovic would have been the YE #2 if he participated in that RG final.

What if Fed had won RG that year though?
