I can go back at least 4 years on those. I strung a lot of college rackets in the 10 years I did it. While Anecdotal, I know what I was seeing and what I strung.
has he tried any other string in the vc95s? thanksMy son plays college. When I watch, must of what I see are Blades, Strikes, Aeros, Vcores, starting to see some Percepts. Strings mostly Hyper G, Tour Bite, other usual suspects. My son uses Vcore95s, strings currently under review. He currently has KPro in them, which is surprisingly good.
If they're at a power 5 school, typically they are weighted to at a minimum match. SC has been doing it for at least 6-7 years. I've been doing it for the teams for the last 4 years. There's another guy that travels around and makes campus visits to do customization for a lot of power 5 schools. Last time I talked to him about it probably 18 months ago he was customizing for 60 teams between men's and women's.I'm curious: how common was it for players to add weight to these frames?
