MSV strings ?

I need advice on the MSV strings, regarding softness.

To explain, i tried the MSV focus hex 1.25 and i loved the bite and control, but it felt stiff even at 23kg/50lbs,would this string soften up yet perform well at low 40:s,and second does a thinner gauge feel much softer ?

Second option would be to hybrid it,if choosing from the MSV line, which non shaped co poly is softest ?

The MSV Hex strings -- all felt stiff to me. Even the new "Plus 38" variety, which is supposed to be softer. Tried a few tensions so far, but ... nothing comfy yet.

So far, the softest MSV string I encountered is Co-Focus. It is also the softest from all polys I've tried.
Especially the 17 and 18 gauges. For me, it also generates the most spin (more than supposedly "spin-monster" polys).

Yep, CoFocus 1.18mm is my cross. It was the best performing cross I could find for gut. Have not tried a full bed but this one's at least worth a shot.

Thanks!

The Hex is quite rough so im afraid it would cut a multi fast,so my original thought was to cross it with a softer non shaped poly, both for softness and to increase the sliding potential, but i think i should go for co-focus and a multi then.

I have the copoly focus hex 17 in the mains and volkl cyclone 17 in the crosses of my V1 and love it.

The tensions turned out really weird after a week of play. The crosses are down to 45 and the mains are holding steady at 60. Stranger even still, I really like the feel of this combination.

What is the difference in the MSV Focus-Hex Soft and the MSV Focus-Hex Plus 38?
