My blue gear mains broke after ten days, could it be something wrong with my racket?

Yeah so my blue gear mains strung at 65 broke today. I've never broken a string with this particular racket and its on its 3rd string job. I've only broken strings twice (including this time) since I started playing with the radical, but this time they broke right on the grommet, so could it be something wrong with the grommets or should I string at a lower tension next time?

Thanks

It wasn't exactly a shank, but I didn't make perfect contact either. It was about 42 degrees today. Do you think that the weather could've caused this maybe?

Well I don't break them that often I just wear them out until they're dead, and I've improved alot lately. I seem to be more particular about my strings now too, like I used to get my old rackets strung every 3 months with a cheap synthetic gut but now I hit the ball a lot harder and they just wear out quickly.
