I held Nadal's racket in my han last week. It's a normal Aero Pro Drive, customized with some weight and in standard length.

@jura, where had you held it in your hands?
Is his Aero very heavy?
At the stringing service at the French Open. I don't know the exact specs. I would think the weight is about 315 - 320 gr. unstrung.

Yes 320 is correct, is it more head heavy as the stock version?
Any special things you noticed on the racquet?
Do you know the stringtension in kp?

It feels quit head heavy. But the real important thing for me is more the swingweight. And this is pretty high. String tension was 24.5 kp, strung with Babolat Tour Duralast.

Sure looks like the Aeropro Drive PLUS to me.. on volleys he has to choke up on it....
Believe me, I had it in my hand and compared it to others: it's standard length.

nadal always uses a shorter grip when he hits volleys! besides that he always played a normal length version of all babolats he used, so he will surely not change now!

it has also been said about a 1000 times that he uses the aeropro with babolat tour duralast 135 with 24,5 kg (he went a little higher at the french, like everybody did) and L2 gripsize.

CHECK THE SEARCH ENGINE FIRST!

Looks like standard length to me....with an extra long over grip for his 2-handed BH. Look how short the distance is from the top of his grip tape to the bottom of the hoop. Standard 27". Headsize does look small... like 95 sq in.

Most players at the French Open were not raising their string tension. They were stringing them lower as the balls were heavier and they could afford to string lower to get more bounce of the racquet without compromising control.
