I spy an empty chair next to Rafa’s sister. Is that Mery’s seat
I assumed, maybe wrongly that Rafa's mother was sitting there and she moved to make a better picture.

For a second there I thought that was Lajovic standing next to Nadal in black 'Disciplina' shirt. Uncanny resemblance.Abierto Mexicano Telcel, in Acapulco, ATP-500

Isner has never beaten Rafael......
YesAre you Spanish?
Nadal must win the title there. Greetings from a Djokovic Fan.
Vamos.
plus Djokovic is always playing catch-up whereas Rafael already has 17 slams and probably 18 very soonIt would be nice if he won, but there is no must about it. He doesn't have to do anything. He has nothing to prove. You shouldn't judge Nadal by the standards and goals that Djokovic sets for himself, to him it's only about winning. He has to be seen to beat the rest. IMO Rafa doesn't think like that, he has never measured his success against that of his competitors. His goal has always been to improve as a player.
Please do not get this wrong. He does not have to because it is his claim. I do not mean that. But I also want him to stay successful. He is one of my current top 3. Behind Djokovic and Delpo. And if the two do not compete, I'm always for Nadal. Because of Federer. He just has to win. I just want that.It would be nice if he won, but there is no must about it. Stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh geez, in a Spanish interview he said he tweaked his wrist in Cozumel and that's why he hasn't practiced until today. Says he will try his best anyway.
well whatever the case is, Rafael is a 100 times smarter than you and me, so whatever he decides is the good decisionHas he withdrawn? It would be a good decision if he does so. His whole season should revolve around slams .
Yeah, they were talking about it in todays match after he won his first set. Thankfully no signs of any wrist issue all throughout. He did have taping on both wrists but he has mentioned in past that he does that because of sweating and in humid conditions. Good win tonight. I'm a little anxious about next match with Kyrgios. Always tricky with that guy and his mood swings.Oh geez, in a Spanish interview he said he tweaked his wrist in Cozumel and that's why he hasn't practiced until today. Can't wait to see an epic Nadal-Kyrgios. I love their competitive matches.Yeah, they were talking about it in todays match after he won his first set. The match was close, and Rafa wasn’t playing with full mobilityHe lost to Kyrgios at a FAST 4 SHOWDOWN 2019. What is this?
Okay. I don't know that event that's why.The match was close, and Rafa wasn’t playing with full mobility
Rafa whomped him 6-2 6-1 in their last tour meeting in Beijing. He'll do just fine.He lost to Kyrgios at a FAST 4 SHOWDOWN 2019. What is this?
Kyrgios served very well in the 1st set yesterday against Seppi not so much in the 2nd set. Seppi is not really a good yardstick to judge how good anyone is playing because he’s got an OK flat game which doesn’t really task the opponent too much. Rafa will have to do well with his ROS but I don’t think he should have too much problems with the rest of Kyrgios’s game. If Rafa plays well in the 1st set, Kyrgios will go into his antics mode. So the first set is key.Rafa whomped him 6-2 6-1 in their last tour meeting in Beijing. He'll do just fine.
that is an exhibition event where you only have to win 4 games to win the setHe lost to Kyrgios at a FAST 4 SHOWDOWN 2019. What is this?

Rafa's girlfriend Maria Francisca (aka Xisca), who is the Director of Strategy and Institutional Relations of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, is currently in Anantapur, India. She attended the inauguration of two hard surface tennis courts at the Nadal Educational & Tennis School (NETS).
The Nadal Educational & Tennis School (NETS) is part of the Anantapur Sports Academy that was founded by RTD in 2002.
The Anantapur Sports Academy (ASA) website: ¤¤ The Rural Development Trust (RDT)* established the Tennis program in partnership with Rafa Nadal Foundation in 2010, with a focus on the education and holistic development of young children.
The centre, named as Nadal Educational & Tennis School (NETS), is housed at the Anantapur Sports Village (ASV). The program was initiated for both Boys & Girls in 2010 with 90 children. Currently, the total number of participants at NETS is 226 (78 Girls and 148 Boys).
NETS cater to both boys and girls in the U-6 to U-16 age categories. Sessions are run twice, daily in the morning and evening from Monday to Saturday. The children are divided into groups depending upon their age category as well as level of play. They are provided with Tennis equipment and clothing including rackets, balls, drill equipment and stringing machine, as well as state of the art Tennis infrastructure including five floodlit clay courts and a practice wall. The programs are planned and continually monitored by the NETS coordinator with help of coaches. Moreover, the coaching staff is internally trained by RDT. ¤¤
