I've noticed that too. With Djoko and Fed they go on about how brilliant they are, saying they are the best in this that and the other. In Rafa's case, they wish his opponent would find a way to beat him.Something that upsets me a bit is how commentators always discuss strategies on how to defeat Nadal making comments like “something that drives me crazy is that no one uses the (insert secret magical strategy to beat Rafa)”. It all sounds quite biased to me, I’ve never heard such comments during Federer or even Djokovic’s matches. I may be looking a bit too much into it.
Do they also actively discuss other player’s matches like this, it never fails with Rafa though.
In the days of SKY Sport, I sent them a tweet to complain about the bias. They also repeat ad nauseam all the players who have beaten Rafa.
That was a great tweener and overall fun point! Thanks for posting!

Rafa withdrew from the tournament before his semifinal due to abdominal pain:
Get well soon, Rafa!
Wtf, injury out of nowhere. Better to pull out of the WTF just in case he gets a bigger injury for the AO next year. I know it's 2 months away but no point killing yourself to get the #1 which Djokovic will mostly look like to get it.
That's the impression I got as well. Seems a minor injury but he's pulling out since he knows how that turned out at the 2009 USO.He should play it if he's in a position to play. It's not a knee or wrist injury. There's enough time between now and AO for an abdominal strain to heal. Also from his presser it seems like a mild one.

Yeah he even mentioned the US Open 2009 in his presser. He doesn't want a similar episode and being precautionary here. That doesn't mean he will play London but I won't count him out completely.
You remember who your username makes me think of right? Been a long time since I told you
