... he (Djokovic) can lose matches."
On his great rival Novak Djokovic, Rafa said: "The final in Doha did not leave any doubt. I did not play bad, I kept the pace well. He was better than me in all aspects of the match. When that happens at all points, the difference is very large. I played well in Abu Dhabi and Doha and I'm training well in Melbourne. It's a long time Djokovic is winning in these kind of matches and playing very well. To the level he is expressing, I believe it's unlikely he can lose matches".

Nadal and many other players have become more like Roddick etc in the past, sucking up to the king of their era (Federer and Djokovic). It's clear that Djokovic is the real successor to Federer.

Interesting article in 2008:
http://miamitennisnews.com/2008/05/20/michael-stich-predicts-djokovic-as-successor-to-federer/
In this candid interview Stich states that although Nadal is the most competitive player, Djokovic is the more talented player and therefore Stich feels that he stands a better chance of surpassing Federer to become the world’s number one player. Stich also goes on the record with his predictions for this year’s French Open.

How many more threads will we see on Rafa's presser after Doha ? Clearly there is no place for these stupid threads. Even the hypothetical threads are far better than this.

It's an interview after the 1st round exit at AO. So it's not the same as the Doha's interview. It just shows how Nadal has been consistently bowing down to Djokovic.
