No reason given.
No reason given.
Yeah I saw, posted just yesterday! Bizarre indeed. That's weird. His facebook says he's travelling there for the tournament...

L'equipe are saying medical reasons. I don't know if they're just guessing.
too much celebrating last night with his footballers?

Rafael Nadal, world number 1, withdrew from the Masters 1000 Paris-Bercy (7-14 November) for medical reasons. The Majorcan, already present in the capital, should speak shortly on the exact nature of his ailments.
Take a rest for WTF.
Ummm ....The nine-time Grand Slam winner cited fatigue for his withdrawal "
The reason is "fatigue" according to this source:
http://tennisconnected.com/home/2010/11/05/nadal-withdraws-from-paris-masters/
"World No. 1 Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the year’s final Masters 1000 event in Paris. The nine-time Grand Slam winner cited fatigue for his withdrawal. After a grueling Asian swing, which he took part in three events, Nadal will rejoin the ATP World Tour for the season Finale in London.
Nadal is assured the world No. 1 ranking this year.
The Paris Masters will feature Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray.
"
Great move by Rafa.
I remember him being booed when he retired in his match in 2008. He tried to please the crowd by starting the match instead of giving up before and they booed him.
They don't deserve to see Nadal after that. And that MS is quite useless and not prestigious.
They should move the australian open to Paris and RG to australia!
The better thing to have done was skip Bangkok and Tokyo. But I guess he went there for the same reason Federer went to Stockholm.
perhaps he is taking this WTF thing more seriously than I thought
Now we know why he played 3 weeks straight after the US Open... good move by the Nadal camp.
Actually it's still a bit suspicious. Why would he announce he was travelling there today and all of sudden cite fatigue? If you were too fatigued today you must've been yesterday too no?
Rafa tell the truth!
Is Xisca pregnant?
lol. Nadal would make a great father!
Yeah, well strategized, and from very long ago.
who is drewlilley?
I dont know if you're sarcastic but i geniunely think that that is feasible.
They all take the WTF very seriously. Its a great tournament. Best of the best players.
LOL, no, I wasn't being sarcastic. I was being serious. Too much to be a coincidence, in my opinion.
Well more points for Federer then....Still very sad to see Rafa not play. He could have skipped those Asian Events and play in Paris where it matters!
It's pretty clear that Nadal wishes to cycle off and then on again to win WTF. Right?
I wonder if nadal is caught for steroid use whether Federer will get all those FOs where he lost in the finals!
