NadalIn t in fans should back Djokovic

nobody more than me has had arguments with Djokovic fans. I've always considered Djokovic to be Nadals great rival due to the similarity in age.

I have always obviously wanted djokovic to lose, just as djokovic fans have wanted nadal to lose. It's natural.

Now however, they are no longer rivals, Nadal is totally spent and washed up, in terms of supporting a player who has a chance to win a Major (while still supporting Nadal during his frequent losses early in tournaments) we have a decision to make as time marches on and tennis carries on, we have to find a player to back.

In the long run I shall be a Jack Sock fan but for the moment I am rooting for Djokovic to win FO. I think he has more right to be considered GOAT than Federer due to the fact nobody has owned him and he beat everyone everywhere. If he wins the FO he will hold all four Majors at once, something I think Nadal said many years ago was impossible in the men's game.

So, good luck Djokovic. You have to admire his tenacity. Part of what made me love Nadal was his tenacity so nadal fans must accept that in djokovic that similar resilience is there.

I also haven't forgot the fact djokovic has often called nadal the greatest ever but has never said that about Federer, always called him one of the sports great champions.

Djokovic has never trash talked rafa once, Federer has so in terms of goat hood, Id rather djokovic have it if it isn't nadal.

Don't even get me started on Ronaldo. Arrogance, gets angry when his teammates score and he doesn't, being better than Messi is more important than Real Madrid winning, etc, etc. The list can go on all day.

Messi though totally underachieves for Argentina and that squad of players is easily the most talented in world football. Im not sure Messi is better as he had Xavi and Iniesta helping him for many years, Ronaldo had far inferior players. However he is a preening self centred tw*t and there of course is only one Ronaldo...and he nowadays is a bit porky but in his heyday would run rings aaround the current one.
