I am certain that Nadal uses the "Babolat Custom Dampner". Does anyone know if he uses it without the clear insert, or with the clear insert inside the dampner?

The insert can be popped out. I'm not sure what an O-dampner is like, but when the insert is out the dampner is shaped in an "O".

some players are already switching to the "cosmic dampener" Moya for instance uses this one, Nadal might switch as well!

I don't think I'll ever use the cosmic one, not after I've used the custom dampner. Using the custom dampner give my shots a nice loud "clopping" sound. It sounds great, and feels great too.
I don't care for the look of the cosmic one. It's kind of junior tennis-looking.

I've heard you say this before. Why do you think he needs a larger frame? Is there something wrong with his current frame? Would a larger frame help him win more tournaments? If so, why?

Well, his results in non-clay slams speak for themsleves. His inability to win in these events is clearly due to his racquet choice, and I don't undestand why he hasn't switched to a larger frame to assist him in winning. He clearly has too many unforced errors and shanks, and a larger frame will definitely help alleviate this problem.

Aaahh. I understand now. He certainly has the muscle-power to wield a larger frame. By larger, do you mean, thicker shaft, heavier (heavier on what parts), longer, oversize head?

I disagree. You and many other posters have repeatedly posted that a larger frame "is the answer to winning", and a smaller frame, the "answer to losing". So why doesn't this logic include Nadal? According to you, and many others, wouldn't he win more if he had a larger frame??

The traditional head size of player racquets is small 90-100, now ppl use larger head sizes, like 105-110+. I prefer using a smaller head size, it seems more maneuverable. It all depends on what ur style is though.

BTW: Nadal uses the BBCD with the insert, and i used too (without). but since i tried the RB (that is 50 times cheaper) i placed my 2 BBCD's in the bag. they will come out one day...
