Going to a 5th set.. Murray should have ended this in the 3rd.. than he had buncha break points in the 4th.. now he's definitely losing the match in the 5th hahaha.. And my man Gasquet will blow through Nalbandian!!!!!!!!!

Is it a choke by Murray, or has Nalbandian just dug in and battled valiantly. By the way Twist, since you are a Gasquet fan, how far do you think he can go here? The draw is wide open, and Roddick is vurnerable now although he looked alot better today.

I think Gasquet will definitely make at least the semi's unless he chokes somewhere.. I think he has a good chance against Roddick but who knows.. Roddick almost lost in 5 sets to that Balleteri guy. It would be nice to see Hewitt Vs Gasquet or Federer Vs Gasquet in the finals.

I was thinking the Nalbandian vs Gasquet would be a close call, but after today I am really favoring Gasquet if Nalbandian pulls this out. Not because Murray took him to 5 so much, as the emotional and physical wear that will probably be on him, well also Gasquet won in straights against a very big server today which was impressive.

Murray played better quality tennis than Nalbandian, he just doesnt have the fitness level yet for 5 sets. Next year Murray will get into the quarters or semis based on that performance.

Gasquet versus Roddick would be interesting. I think Roddick would win if he plays like he did in the first two sets today. The way his serve was going, it was nearly impossible to break him no matter how good of a returner you are.

Yes, his percentage was insane, but its not eeasy to keep it up. Gaquet is and excellent and tricky returner, not giving any rythm on the return. He will stand inside the baseline or ten feet back. If he plays Roddick it will be a good one.

So what happens to Murray now? Losing in the 3rd round won't give him that many points or even seedings in other main tour tournaments. He is ranked 300 something right now. So would it be the Challenger tournies or wild cards on the ATP tour?

Must agree with Jimmy Connors who was commentating for BBC, that Murray needs to build on his conditioning...... Compared with Nadal who is a year older, Murray doesn't quite have the strength or the speed.

Well it should be a great kick start to his adult career. I felt sorry for him, as his lead evaporated, it would have been a huge win for him, but he has a bright future. I think he knows he has to work on some things, fitness and pure strength are probably some of those, and this match will convince him of that. He has alot of good tools for somebody so young though. I think this is a good starting point from him to build from.

He needs stamina and endurance, he definitely has the tennis skills already, in the second set he was dominating.

Well, lets not build him up and knock him down like the British press. Takes more than a couple of ATP events to be a great player. What's annoying is that John Lloyd (Evert's ex husband) is already saying that the kid is gonna be a great player, someone to watch in British tennis for the next 10 yrs.

Gee, the kid has potential but I wouldn't quite go that far.

I think he can go far but he needs time.
Rather than what the LTA are doing is rushing but i think now he just got to the 3rd round i think he'll escape their clasp.

He needs a full time coach, and needs to take his fitness seriously. The biggest worry I see for him is that he may be injury prone.

So far Murrey has proved nothing. Any youngster may have a winning streak. There were so many of them who came and went and we do not even rememeber their names. This hype is ridiculous. Let's wait untill he wins his first ATP tournament.
