I am also a metal lover but I love too many genres and couldn't accommodate metal albums in my top 10 except AiC who were really the successors to Sabbath and had little in common with the rest of the Seattle Four. My all time favourite musician is Ilayaraja but I left him out for a pure Western music oriented list.Welcome metal lovers!!!!
I had imagined you as a metal person
I was wrong
I like Metallica and Sabbath too. Also Slayer is nice, ive seen them 3 times!I like Sabbath, Maiden, Megadeath & Metallica.
Never heard of the pre sabbath band, are they similar to Sabbath?I am also a metal lover but I love too many genres and couldn't accommodate metal albums in my top 10 except AiC who were really the successors to Sabbath and had little in common with the rest of the Seattle Four. My all time favourite musician is Ilayaraja but I left him out for a pure Western music oriented list.
Never heard any of that music before, exept some random Elton John. Maybe I missed out something great?no particular order
lydia loveless - somewhere else
elton john - yellow brick road
graham parker - squeezing out sparks
cheap trick - heaven tonight
elo - new world record

the knack - get the knack
Never heard any of that music before, exept some random Elton John. Maybe I missed out something great?
That ganster song from that Outkast album is great. In general I dont listen much to hip hop. I can like 90s rnb like Aahliya.Wow, the whiteness is blinding! Haha!
The only album I ever really consider to be my favorite is Aquemini by Outkast. The entire album is full of great songs...not a bad song on there.
Honorable mention:
Deliverance - Bubba Sparxx
I'm more of a favorite song kinda guy. Those were the only two albums I ever bought that i was happy with.
Duran Duran - Seven and the Ragged Tiger
Hall & Oates - H2O
Tears for Fears - Song from the Big Chair
Michael Jackson - Thriller
Wham! - Make it Big
Cindy Lauper - She's so Unusual
Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams
Peter Gabriel - So
Madonna - Lika a Virgin
A-Ha - Hunting High and Low
I listen to them so often, the sound from my cassettes is all warped.
Listening to it now, loving it.Unbelievably soothing and hypnotic, I've fallen asleep to this album on so many occasions.
I'll give it a shot later on definitely.Listening to it now, loving it.
Maybe you like this?
Do you like NYHC kind of music?, Cro Mags. Youth of Today, Judge etc? Its quite "underground" but since you like Bad Brains and Fugazi.. You maybe were collecting Revelation Records like me in your youth?I really like punk music but much more singles so as far as albums go i'll give a mention for ( I already included a couple above):
The Undertones-The Undertones
Another music in a different kitchen-The Buzzcocks
Repeater-Fugazi
Damned Damned Damned-the Damned
Brand new age-UK Subs
Bad Brains-Bad Brains
Killing Joke-Killing Joke
White light, white heat, white trash-Social Distortion
Is it still 1983?
Oh, Aja is a great, great album if you like jazz-pop. One of the best recorded albums of the 70s. The lengthy title track is wonderful to bask in on a rainy day.Never heard any of that music before, exept some random Elton John. Maybe I missed out something great?
I do, I prefer the anarcho stuff like Crass, Chron Gen etc but again it was more singles. I still think Dischord is the greatest label that exists.Do you like NYHC kind of music?, Cro Mags. Youth of Today, Judge etc? Its quite "underground" but since you like Bad Brains and Fugazi.. You maybe were collecting Revelation Records like me in your youth?

Prefer the sequel. Can still remember my Dad being so hyped about getting it. Heard it about a billion times in his car in the end. Then all of a sudden I started liking it.
Can't find the whole album to post here. :/
This is the most memorable tune apart from the bell. Used to make us all laugh. lol

The Congos-heart of the Congos
Alpha Blondy-Jerusalem

Chill man, 1983 is cool, but 1984 will be radical. Like, totally tubular.
C'mon folks, add a little color to this thread, post the album's artwork.
