Neos glide bar slipping

Hi all,
When I clamp the string after tensioning, and I release the string from the tension head, the clamp slips few mm to 1-2 cms along the bar and then stops. When I do the same thing with the same clamp but on the other side of the bar (the cilinder), it does not slip at all. Could it be that the bar (the cilinder) on one side to be a bit worn and therefore the round hole of the clamp (the bottom part) can not hold the bar propperly?
I don´t know if I explained myself.
Thanks!
PD: I reread the tittle and maybe I should have written ¨Clamp slipping alond the glide bar¨

Clean the glide bars and the area of the clamps where they grab the bar. My guess is you just have some residue on the bar and/or the clamp.

Absolutely (y). You really want to clean the surfaces of all your glide bars and the bar grasping area of your clamps. Then test that the pieces work with both glide bars and both clamps. If, for some reason, there is a section of one glide bar that is out of round or damaged, you can get it replaced at TM.

Get in the habit of cleaning your clamps after 10-15 frames. One slip and you can generally say Adios to the string. At that same time, clean the bases and the glide bars. You need to have some degree of OCD to string. [And the GF snickers] :happydevil:
