Head has the mold. But also the rights to produce and sale? Who knows? May be Uli Kühnel still have them who managed the whole project in 1996 with his company at that time. I remeber that a friend told me that there was an agreement that Head can not use this mold for selling rackets on their own. Still alive?

Yeah, all of that might make it a very tough call...
Still, it would be a shame not to turn this into the type of the custom venture, in the time of Angell custom rackets, and similar offers from, Heysil, Dahcor and Zus (from Italy).

Making a frame from Boris Becker Puma mould at Head, with adjustable, custom balance and weight options, would be quite something.
And there are other room for variations, such as making the larger head size frame for those who would like it, since I still remember Kneissl Pro Stick (grey color) which was about 102 sq. in. or similar (oversize then) used by a teaching pro who was visiting our club. To him, none of the (then modern, now vintage) rackets compared to his sticks.

I would like to see more diversity come back in racquet brands and Puma would be a good start. The reason why we need to support this, apart from liking the mold, is that if we end up with a few brands dominating the market, the cost of racquets will keep going up.
While I don’t have a problem with racquet companies making a healthy profit, I think things are a bit out of control especially if you are outside of the US, UK and Europe. Try buying a racquet in Venezuela for example- people have stopped playing tennis there because they can’t afford to play;

I think the problem is the mold. Head has one but is not allowed to use it for comercial. The other question is: are there still molds existing in Asia? The rackets where made in different factories over the years. If not making a new mold with creating a layup and testing everything for a limited run is simply a high economically risk. On the opposite Head made the Pro Tour and Prestige from existing molds and construction and so it it simply making money.
For marketing and sales figures a new Puma would be the best choice.
