New Racket...

I'm finally most likely going to get a new racket... before my brother killed his racket, and i thought i was getting a new one. I was wrong. I can now though :) My current stick is a PD Cortex. The problem with that was that it generated too much power, and I didn't like the volleys very much. I'm going for a racket with less power, and more control and maneuverability. My playstyle is...aggressive baseliner. I set points up by slamming in to one corner and going to the net. Sometimes, chip and charge. My current rackets for testing so far are:

Head Microgel Radical
Prince o3 Speedport Black
Babolat AeroStorm
Babolat Pure Storm
Babolat AeroPro Drive w/cortex
Wilson nBlade
Wilson k6.1 95

Any others suggestions?

you have the exact problem i did...go for the pure storm tour...forget the team version as it's unstable...the tour doesn't even feel heavy and i love it i switched from the same racquet you did and wanted all the same qualities.

the aerostorm will give you the same problems with volleys and the nblade is too flexible and too light for a low powered frame.

the last one would be the k6.1 95 which is a good stick but try the pure storm tour first i'm sure you'll love it, i did.

Aeropro Drive w/Cortex is a lot more powerful than the PD w/Cortex IMO. I was hitting balls in the back fence that I would be usually hitting in the court with the APDC

I heard that APD w/cortex was weaker than the PD. I've played with the nBlade once before as a demo, and I liked it. I'm not sure how I'll like it now.

Scratch the babolats, you dont like PD you won't like any of the ones you mentioned.

I have very simular style of play as you - You'll like MG Radical's comfort, controll and all court abilities. If that is a bit too light you should definety try the PRO or just led it up, though it is a little less agile option.

Donnay Pro Int 95 suits me great too.

Definitely check out the pure storm tour-- it doesnt hit like any of the other babolat rackets... i hate all babolats except for this racket.

Also check out the flexpoint prestige mp and the rds 001 mp.
