Nike Max Breathe Free II squeaks...anybody else?

My Nike Max Breathe Free II shoes have started to squeak a couple of months after purchase. I play a couple of times per week and am wondering if anybody else has had this problem. The squeaking occurs on both feet and with each step :( and is most audible after playing for about 15 minutes. I like the shoe, its fit and finish; but the squeaking gets a bit annoying after a while.

I have had the same problem. The plastic around the air cushioning has most probably broken; that's what happened with my shoes a couple of times. if you look carefully, you will see a crack in the plastic in side of the heel.

Also if you hold the shoe in your hands and press the bottom of the sole upwards, you can most probably feel that the cushioning is too soft, i.e. you can squeeze the cushioning together.

In that case it is broken and will not perform as it should.

I have been able to get refund for a few pairs which have broken like this

Just for clarification, I'm not referring to the normal squeak a shoe would make on a tennis court while running, stopping, starting.

I could be walking to the back fence to pick up a ball and with each step a faint, but audible squeak, squeak, ugh...

Mine have done that too. Its the heel plastic part that looks like jelly. Like said above, it most likely has cracked a little bit

My BFII are still OK, but the right shoe of my Nike Air Zoom Vapor 3 started to squeak (or more like a click) on every step now at the heel, even normal walkking. I can't see anything wrong on the outside.

The thing is, I haven't feel anything differently yet in terms of its performance yet. So should I continue to wear it until I feel a noticable difference? Or should I give it up asap.
