Tough luck for Andy Murray that he has to play the GOAT in his first two slam finals. The GOAT himself was pretty fortunate to play Mark Philippousis in his first final. Then just rolled and is still rolling.

Tough luck for Murray, he would have probably won two slams by now if Federer wasn't Federer.

Not only did he play the GOAT but Federer was at his BEST as he said in his speech the Aussie fans bring out his best.

Ok, but how do you explain how Djokovic and Safin managed to do it (on their second try) and Del Potro and Nadal did it (on their first try)??

You can't win a slam in this era without going through Federer and that's been true since the 2005 Aussie Open to the present day.
