Ok so a little sarcasm thrown in. I don't know if there was a conspiracy, but i am tired of seeing this semifinal match up. I am hoping for a Fedal semi at the US Open. How about you guys?

It's been crazy how they have arranged the seedings matches. I think out of the last 6 7 years, 4 times has the 1st seed faced the 4th seed and the 2nd seed face the 3rd seed.

Nope. The only person who can overtake Roger anytime soon is Novak.

Even getting to No. 2 by the end of this year will be a very big task for Nadal.

He might even have to wait until next year's Wimbledon to regain No. 2 or even No. 1

i don't think it will happen this year, though. even if novak is defending a lot of points from his us open title and roger is defending a lot of points in the fall, nadal doesn't usually gain a lot of points during this part of the season anyway. so it's either roger or novak who will finish the year no.1. nadal will, sadly for his fans, be stuck at no.3, at least until the spring of next year, which is quite a ways to go. he'll likely have to play either novak or roger in the semis of the next two slams.
