I’m still more than satisfied with his year. If this injury keeps him out the us open and most of 2021 it’s a shame but he’s achieved more than I thought he would this year. He got his 20 slams. We have to see how the shoulder injury goes.

Eveh still if the worst has happened he can take most of the rest of 2021 off and comeback rejuvenated in 2022 for Australia.

It sounds serious to me. Novak will do what’s best for him. If that’s skipping the us open then it’s the right call. He won’t turn up if he’s not 100% and jeopardise future tournaments and 2022.

Agree. Even if he doesn't hit another ball this season it will go down as one of the best ever.

Im like you, can't see Djoker playing matches again for at least 2-3 weeks. He has gone from one emotional high to the next all season with no chance to collect himself or repair physically. Some quality time off with his family will give him time to recover.
