Novak fans: Apart from RG, which slam would you most like him to win (another one at?

Where would you like Novak to win another one, if it cannot be RG?

If he could win only one more slam, which slam would you like him to win another at (apart from RG)? In what order?

For me:

1) US Open - He "deserves" another one here. For all of his consistently deep showings here, it just feels wrong that he's only won here once.

2) Australian Open - It was tough between this one and Wimby...but I feel for someone of Novak's caliber and greatness on the hard courts, I'd rather him win another here. Plus, he'd have the Open Era record in Aussie Open titles.

3) Wimbledon - a very close 3rd for me. It's the "holy grail" of tennis, but I just feel it seems more right that Novak have plenty of hard court slams, rather than a 3rd Wimby title. It would also make Nole seem like he relatively underachieved on the hard courts if he gets 3 at Wimby.

+1

Open Era record, that's better than another title at W or USO

If Novak Djokovic never wins the French Open, then he could compensate by having a record Australian Open career.

He deserves 1 RG & 1 more USopen. That would make it complete. That's all I care about. Everything else is a Bonus as a fan of Novak!

W. And here is my reasoning. He will then be ahead vs Rafa on HC/grass/indoor. I think that win would boost Djokovic the most.

Also 3 W wins. W is holy grail and with 3 wins, he will be among grass immortals.

Amen, History always regards Wimbledon winners highly. Most tennis fans dont remember AO winners like Johan Kriek, Mark Edmondson or Korda.

Wimbledon. If he has more Wimbledon's than Nadal then even the most hard-nosed hater will have to admit that more slams on a surface does not necessarily mean you're better on it

RG is really the one he deserves the most, and which would be the best for his legacy (otherwise you will have old 90's clay saying that Chang and Kafelnikov were better HC than him). AO would be very good for the open era record.

True. But everyone knows Becker, Ivanisevic, Sampras, even non tennis fans.

Because W is the only thing non tennis fans know.

Come on MN, I know you adore Nadal and even the thought of him losing at RG again fills you with dread but you can't deny that Nole would deserve to win the trophy after reaching 2 finals and 4 semi-finals there, 6 of which he's only lost to the eventual champion. And don't give me any of this cr@p about Nadal being declined either, the record books won't care less about that and neither should you. Anyway I hope you're having a nice day boo!

Interesting! Wimbledon is a more popular option than Australian Open...I guess I can see why, though I'd really like to see him have the "record" (Open Era) somewhere...

You know absolutely nothing about tennis. Numbers are a very telling statistic of how good a player is on a particular surface. If you can't beat your competition, you aren't one of the greats on that surface.

Well some of us never were big clay tennis fans not that it is not important just low priority so I prefer if Djokovic wins 1 more Australian Open and 1 more Wimbledon title. Another US Open title probably next. He needs cool weather in New York during the SFs and Final.

Soderling made 2 finals and actually the only one who beat Rafa at RG.

So, if someone deserves it it's Soderling too. Life is not fair.

And Soderling did it vs prime Fedal.
