Novak have better career stat than Borg and Sampras career combine

20 years ago the question at least for OE GOAT was Borg or Sampras? At present Novak have equal their combine results at Big tournaments.Apart from 1 less GS which i am sure he would achieve he have more Masters than their total finals combine,more GS finals and GS wins,More weeks at number 1,equal number of 7 ATP tour finals,equal number of 8th finishes as YE number 1,more hard titles,more hard GSs and Big titles,more clay Big titles,equal number of indoor Big titles/if we exclude alternate tour finals titles/.So overall he is in not in another tier but in another universe compared to the 2 players considered best 20 years ago.

Exactly! The career majors record was Emerson's poisoned chalice - due to him not being good enough to turn pro - & considered virtually irrelevant by top pros until Sampras' coach instilled in Pete the desire to chase it. The CYGS was held in much higher regard as it represented total dominance over one's peers.
