Novak Pro vs Barricade boost

Which one us better? I like stability but also not a lot of weight on shoe. I need to have good comfort because vapor tour 8.5 just gave me an injury in my ankle. Cushioning is gone and shoes are just good as gone.

I would never wear a show with Novak's face on it, even if they were the most comfortable shoes known to man (which they are not).

Boost every time.

If you like cushioning, you gotta go with Boost, no question. I used to wear the Barricade 7 (very similar to Novak Pro) and it hurt my knees even when playing on clay. The Barricade 2015 Boost has never let my knees down even on hard court matches, and I've had it for over a year.

The barricades are incredibly solid, dependable, and the boost only improves the comfort on the heel. The only thing is that the barricades are slightly narrow. I am slightly biased because barricades are my shoe of choice, but they are my favorite for a reason. Though I have wide feet, the shoes adjust well and offer unbelievable stability and durability.

Both of them are pretty heavy tho but if you can handle the weight, go for the boost. Currently using Ubersonic 2s and they're phenomenal. Light, comfy, and feel pretty sturdy

Sorry but the weight difference between my Barricade Boosts and Ubersonics is 20 grams per pair. The Ubers beeing lighter. Therefore the boosts have way more dampening on the back foot.

20grams on a racquet chnages everything. Why not the shoes which are swinging from your hips at the end of your legs?

How is the width on Novak Pros? Are they comparable to any of the current Adidas tennis shoes on the market like the Barricade V classic, Barricade Court Wide, 2016s, 2017s or Barricade Club?

Well they're supposed to be renamed Barricade 7s with Djokovic's face on it, so if you had any experience with them you know what you're in for. I find that compared to the V Classic or even the 2016, the toe box is short and toe jamming is frequent. No idea if the fit of the Novak Pro is different from the Barricade 7.
