Odd lower back pain!

Hey Guys,
I'm experiencing an odd lower back pain. I'm a right handed player, and this pain is on my lower left side of my back, right along my waistline. It's not constant, but it's sort of a sharp swelling pain. Anybody experienced similiar?

it'd be best to consult a doctor for that... there are a number of back problems (and a number of tests for them) and it's really hard to determine without seeing you personally and without having a detailed history...
if it's a tolerable type of pain, try resting for 2-3 days and observe proper body mechanics for your back (in sitting, standing, getting in and out of bed, etc)... if it's not improving with rest, go see a doctor right away...

i've had a lot of patients with same back symptoms but different diagnoses... so it's best to see a specialist to isolate the problem through special tests and other diagnostic exams...

well i've had some lower left back problems myself and am a righty also and was diagnosed of weak back muscles and thang god it's gone but that's just me, i second the opinion of seeking therapy if the pain is not gone soon ..
