old babolats

Hey quick question which racket is more powerful
the babolat pure drive swirly plus
or the aeropro drive plus non cortex
both rackets have no cortex and they just have woofers
and if you have one can you give your thoughs on the rackets

Both racquets are the same, really.
It's a great thing you're looking at the non-cortex models! That's probably Babolat's best racquet time ever. You're going to love the pure feel, and the comfort compared to the newer models.

I use to own Swirly + and now I own APD and Swirly Standard 27 in. The only difference is noticeable softness of APD (RDC 66-68) vs Swirly (73 RDC). Swirly is one of the stiffest rackets I have ever tried (73 RDC) and it shows on serve...its a monster especially + version.

I tried APD + briefly and my problem is that I am not use to playing with + size rackets so I am always biased agains + rackets because of my one handed backhand. It simply feels like the throat is one mile long and too far from my body. But all of this beeing said they are nearly the same and I can easily switch between APD and PD Swirly.

If you like softer racket but still solid (not mushy) go with APD
if you like stiff rackets go with PD Swirly...

Ha both of you guys freaken rock!!
then ill get the pure drive swirly
its just there is a huge debate between the two
and even though there similar most people say that the aeropro drive is better with serves and the pure drive is good with ground strokes
but thats with the cortex
