Despite working in the sharp end of finance for many years, I have always attended marches and demonstrations asking for greater social justice.

It’s a noble thing I believe to march for the poor, the oppressed and those without a voice.

The Bolsheviks overthrew the regime and took over Russia in what may have been the most significant coup in world history.

Any TT posters ever overthrow the decadent capitalist system in place or take part in any revolutionary shenanigans?

'Tis even nobler to help them out with your own money or opportunities you create for them rather than insisting others do it.

I happen to have done a bit of that too.

But actually I disagree with your premise and believe it is nobler to give with your heart than your money.

I met a rich man in India the other day and asked him about his family’s involvement in philanthropy. He told me he had to do it as a matter of course and was not at all up to speed with what projects they were actually involved with. It was a social obligation for him, nothing more. Despite his apparent largesse, I did not witness a great generosity of spirit.

Another SexiSuri encounter but without a "happy ending."

It is a blessed thing, and more than this, it is a work of mercy to give alms (food, clothing, money) directly to real persons who are poor. It's something we constantly need to be doing.

I really don't believe in helping people because if they are suffering, it is by god's plan, and I don't want to interfere with that. If god wanted them to have more, she would have given it, and would not expect me to arrogantly go against her will.

It must have been in Her plan to allow dissemination of this revolutionary vid to ease the suffering of the mA.S.S.es:

That's fine, just so long as you are consistent with other area's of your life. I don't want to see you complaining about this or that's groups rights or against religion in other words.

I believe you've taken a large step forward in your tolerance / "others can have opinions different than mine and it doesn't make them wrong" training.

So nice to see you are starting to respect other/opposing viewpoints. This shows real growth.
