how does the rough compared to other popular strings like Solinco tourbite soft or RPM blast ?

It's a wonderful string.
I like it better than Alu Power, which is what I used before.
Comparing to Alu, it has less power, more 'hold' on the ball, better tension maintenance, and better ball pocketing.

I've only used full beds on both.
- MP plays well for so long that I am at a loss what I can hybrid it with that can last as long.
- PLII would be an interesting candidate to hybrid - I've seen people mention it in other threads
- I am going to test ALU-Rough/Alphagut and ALU-Soft/Alphagut

Never tried that one, but Wilson Revolve ain't bad as a cross, doesn't last long though.

It's a strange multi/poly hybrid type of string I think. Quite slippery, soft, doesn't fray and has excellent tension maintenance.
