PCB has made his eagerly anticipated return following his epic run to the US open Semis. Did brilliantly in winning four games against Steve Darcis in a 6-0 6-4 loss. So nearly turned it round in that second set. Lets not forget Darcis beat Nadal at Wimbledon once!!

My prediction that PCB is among the worst major semi finalists ever is already looking wrong. How could i ever be wrong.

Also, he's not a semifinalist. He's a finalist, at doubles in USO 2016.

In 2009 after winning Us Open, Del Potro lost to Roger Vasselin 6-4 6-4 and Melzer 7-5 2-1 ...

Pablo is not the worst SF because he is top 10, reached Master SF and has an additional Slam QF.

Darcis may have beaten Zverev, but Busta hasn't. Busta has a single career win against a top 10 player, vs Raonic at this years French.

What a great win that was though. Along with beating four qualifiers at the US open, a feat that has never been done before.

I do feel ashamed that i underestimated PCB, i now see he is in fact on course to become the GOAT. He will be entertaining fans for years with his swashbuckling style of play.

PCB will lead the next generation of stars in tennis.

At best PCB is as good as Juan Monaco, and I don't think Monaco ever made a SF, just QF IIRC. So yeah, PCB is one of the worst slam SFist in Open Era. Nothing beats Washington making Wimby final in '96 though. Lol

Pablo is as good as Juan....Juan never made a SF...so Pablo = weak semifinalist. hmm....
