PDR Vs APDC Personal Evaluation

I've used the PDR for the past year and i just got the APDC and i tried it out yesterday. I liked both racquets but for different reasons.

I think i liked the PDR better but i think this is because my playing style has been fitted to this racquet. When i tried APDC, i loved the massive spin and how it helped keep all of my shots in no matter how hard i hit it. However, the serving was off. This is probably because the serving style is different between these two racquets. And it was hard to get good depth with the APDC because the topspin made the ball drop only a few feet from the net.

PDR: More Power, Better Serves, More depth in shots, More control in placement

APDC: More Spin, More consistency b/c the topspin keeps almost every shot in.

Do you think this evaluation is accurate or should i play with the APDC some more, get used to it, and then make the final judgement call?

Sums it up for me. I serve more aces with the PDR and more power. APDC works well with the slice and playing topspin vs topspin...also the APDC doesn't tire me out compared to the PDR.

I too prefer using the PDR, i find the APDC tad bit too light stock,
not as stable as the PDR, esp against hard and flat hitting players.

As for spin. i think that both rackets are fairly similar, with APDC holding a slight advantage due to its lighter frame aiding swing acceleration.

i think both rackets are suited to different needs and abilities of players,
some may find using the heavier PDR tire them out faster, and prefer the lighter APDC, and some, like me prefer a slightly heavier and stable racket for more powerful returns and placement.
