Peter Lundgren and Grigor Dimitrov

I was just checking out the ATP profile (http://www.atpworldtour.com/3/en/players/playerprofiles/?playernumber=D875) of Grigor Dimitrov and I found that he is being coached by none other than Peter Lundgren! Maybe it's just me, personally, but I have a huge respect for Lundgren and some of the talented players he's coached in the past (Rios, Federer, Safin). I also really like Dimitrov's strokes. According to the Dimitrov's Wikpedia page, Lundgren claims that "Dimitrov was better than Federer was at his age".

What do you guys make of him and this relationship?

Very nice, Dimitrov looks like he's a good player, and I too like Lundgren for what he did to Federer, and how he took Safin from his downward spiral and helped him win his AO title.

Is that sour grapes? I thought the relationship between Fed and Lundgren ended badly.

Let's just see if Dimitrov will do well this year. So far, he pushed Nadal to three sets before losing at the Rotterdam tourney... He gets a wildcard in this year's Wimbledon and US Open.. so let's see. :)

Somewhat oversensitive? It's not a public statement, it's something he as a coach said to the youngster, presumably to boost his confidence and apparently it had effect given how he's played in his first matches on ATP level against not the easiest of opponents to say the least. The statement entered public domain by hearsay, not becuase Lundgren wanted to make a point. BTW, for a guy who supposedly holds grudges for years for dubious reasons, it's astonishing he's close friends with Marat ;)
Dimitrov couldn't be in better hands.
