PK Silver Ace 110

A customer brought in a PK Silver Ace 110. He said it was about 20 years old. After spending sometime cleaning it, it came out quite nice. It's white with blue and grey accents. It says the frame is a graphite, ceramic and fiberglass composite. It weighs a tad over 13 ozs. strung. On the outside of the throat is a typical manufacturers description of the features of the frame, among which is the "APW" system or adjustable perimeter weight system, "which makes the Silver Ace 110 customizable to any weight and balance preference." I don't see any sign of anything adjustable on the frame. Does anyone remember this frame and how the APW worked?

I recall the PK 'silver ace', came with few individual metal wts. These could be strung to/against the outside of the frame between the grommet holes. I think I may hv some still in my gear box, but the lead tape works better for me. Hope this helps.

dennis1188, thanks, I got a similar description on another board. Apparently there were holes or slots in the strips between the grommet holes where the weights could be placed and the string held them in place(similiar to the power pad arrangement). My guess is they are long gone on this particular racquet.
