Ok, I wont be too detailed caus i got to go somewhere in like a minute. I was a little chubby and starting working ouit, lifting weights, jumping rope, running a bit, and i have been playing tennis for a while and absolutely LOVE IT! i am about a 4.0-4.5. but i really want to get "buff" for looks and to help my tennis game. can u please design a workout plan for me that will help me lose my fat and help me build up my abs, legs, arms, etc. my whople body i guess. if u could i owuld be grateful! remeber-i need *buff" lol

btw, currently i cant lift mopre than about 15 pounds on my bicep curls, so i thought i could gradually build up. THANK YOU!

you'll find there many exercises
check first of all the

and Footwork
those are enough for the time being.

Weights are a little bit early for you at 14 ... you should let your body grow unimpeded. Do some swimming, biking and track, they will make you buff in a natural way.

I started weight training at age 16, you can try lifting weights but I doubt you will get any mass without some protein, but being that young I dont think you should be taking those suppliments, plus they are very expensive, In my opinion I dont think 14 is too young to workout, I would say give it a try, just becareful and do it right or else you will hurt yourself... I workout naturally without protein and I gain not much mass and im 17, I tried taking protein and it helps a lot, Marius is right.. although you wont get buff from that.

Thx guys, your info helped alot. I think I am going to stick at my 15lbs for arms and the 20lbs for the legs, but will do more of the natural excersizes to get *buff* . I have this prottein shake thing that i drink once in a while, i guess i will start doin it regularly. tho it tastes pretty bad tho...

NEway, thx for all u info!

I've been lifting since i was about 14 but then i did low weight with high reps. That helped some. The key to being detailed is to do some cardio to get the heart rate and burn fat and then the weight training will help with the rest.

Nothing beats EAS Myoplex shakes, I love them, pretty pricey.. for you I say take around 20-30 gram shakes, eat healthy and run run run, the running to burn off fat the eatting to keep getting fatter and the weights to grow muscles! light weights will be good for now, dont stress your body too much.. good luck!

I'm a bit old school, and I wouldn't recommend that a 14-year old drink protein shakes. A balanced diet provides enough protein, and at that age, he's still growing, so there should be no protein or vitamin deficiencies. Also suggest going easy on the weights until at least age 16.
