I will be rooting for RBA yet need Djoker to win if Fed loses. Very very tough.well as expected fedal are second. i think i'll be too nervous about the second match to care what happens in the first, doesn't make much of a difference anyway fed will still have an uphill battle\
No. Djokovic is as big a super star now as either. Just the British press seem to have an issue with him.The biggest match possible in tennis with the two biggest superstars of the sport is The Main Event and no chance that should or would be going on first.
Ditto...except swap Fed for Rafa lol.I will be rooting for RBA yet need Djoker to win if Fed loses. Very very tough.
Wish it was second so I could be yelling "GO RBA, FINISH HIM!!!!!" or reluctantly saying "go djoker... yay."Ditto...except swap Fed for Rafa lol.
Exactly my thoughts. The spectre of Djokovic fresh in the final is bothering me tbh.Wish it was second so I could be yelling "GO RBA, FINISH HIM!!!!!" or reluctantly saying "go djoker... yay."
If Djokovic destroys RBA, that will impact the Fedal match. Certainly I could see Federer if he lost the first set losing in straight sets.It won't be first. Most likely Djokovic destroys RBA and then if the Fedal match is a war then Fed has no chance in the final should he prevail, Nadal will be slightly disadvantaged too if he wins
Worst case for you: Rafa wins in 5 sets, and Djoker wins in 3 easy sets.Exactly my thoughts. The spectre of Djokovic fresh in the final is bothering me tbh.

DEl Potro is sorely missed as I think he would have been seeded 4th.
Why would they put the prime time match first? Can't imagine it unfortunately.
because OP doesn't want to go to bed at 3 a.m.Why would they put the prime time match first? Can't imagine it unfortunately.
My worse case scenario a lot more likely!!!Worst case for you: Rafa wins in 5 sets, and Djoker wins in 3 easy sets.
Worst case for me: rafa wins in 3 easy sets, and RBA wins in 5 long sets.
Probably. Can we go back to the year 2017 please? My worse case scenario a lot more likely!!!
Even if a new generation had actually taken hold and Fedal were fringe top 10 or top 20 players, it would still be the biggest match possible if only for nostalgic purposes.Pretty funny that it's still considered the biggest match possible in tennis.

Thank the #nevergens for making it possible that the only possible hype can be about record chases and nostalgia.Even if a new generation had actually taken hold and Fedal were fringe top 10 or top 20 players, it would still be the biggest match possible if only for nostalgic purposes.
More I think about it I cant see either of our guys winning the event now, this match tomorrow will cook both emotionally.Probably. Can we go back to the year 2017 please?

Feds not beating Rafa.Won't his worst case be Rafa losing and Novak winning without considering # of sets played?
Mind gamesFeds not beating Rafa.

I almost wish the semis/final are all stinkers/mugfests, to stop the lifetime deification of Fedalovic by the press.yep with wimbledon 2008 constantly being shoved down everyone's throat as the greatest match of all time, no wonder ticket prices are also so high.
Murrovic is the most boring rivalry in the history of tennisThank the #nevergens for making it possible that the only possible hype can be about record chases and nostalgia.
That being said, Djokovic' rivalries with Fed, Rafa are far more interesting to me and even Murrovic is more complete imo.

The only reason people say that is salty Fedal fans crying over Fedal not making finals and getting Murrovic instead.Murrovic is the most boring rivalry in the history of tennis

And don't pretend it's because Djokovic owns Murray, cause for a very long time it was more competitive than frickign Fedal.
Both semis should start at the same time.
I had the same idea. Just like in football. Imagine what it can do for a player knowing the No. 1 in the world is about to lose, when you are like 0:2 in sets down in your own match. Like I said on another thread, if Djokovic somehow loses his match, it would make the Fedal match become an epic battle because then both players know one of them will most likely win WB.
Are you talking about soccer or american football? I ask to be sure, sorry.
soccer lol
It's Fed's shotmaking why people love Fed. So even if the match is one sided, people still love to see Federer. The only reason people say that is salty Fedal fans crying over Fedal not making finals and getting Murrovic instead.
