hm... bro your serve looks cool... but groundies need work.

other than that your footwork was off, you need to let that hitting arm loose, and whip it like a bath towel.... when you swing, take your focus off the racket, and put on your hitting arm... let it relax like a piece of noodle, and whip it.

Nice relaxed 3/4 speed motion, but maybe show some first flat serves also.
The putaway drill is good, but you hit too close to the feeder sometimes, like you know where you should hit, but you just didn't.
Obviously, you are a good trained player.

Your ground strokes looking better than your previous posts. Much better. That backhand was great and your forehand is leaps and bounds better on this video vs the first post.

I want to see more ground strokes before commenting. Those were only 2 forehands and a backhand.

Edit: I have the impression you hit this well because it was against pace vs previous posts where you had to generate against pushers?

my guess is that this is just practicing, so I was more relaxed and confident in swing. that vid was a match and mentally I was not confident.

please check out this vid of baseline rally, maybe you can see more about my groundies.

Stroke mechanics look fine. Your footwork, however, is not. You're flat footed the entire time. Look like you mean to be out there, and get your feet moving.

If you really want to get better, even during practice, when the ball is in the air, keep your heels off the ground.

Tony...
Every player moves differently.
You move like a cat. See if you can find vids of MiraslavMecir, the "big cat", and notice the similarity. He's a top 30 player around 10 years ago.
Feet movement is only to get you to the hitting zone with your shoulders somewhat turned, nothing else matters. It's actually the shoulder turn that allows you to hit consistently and well, the feet get you near the ball, that's it.
In my day, a couple of standouts moved like you, low and smooth. PeterPearson and RollieZalameda were both practice partner's of mine. Both good friends, they were almost shadows of one another in movement. People who watched always thought....smooth mover, never rushed.
I have other friends who moved herky jerky, some look like they run around all over the place, and one seems to SPRINT to every ball, even it's it's hit right at him.
Play your style, it's smooth and catlike. Don't listen to the hippidy hoppers.

"I want to be with the fishes.", Mecir. Expert at change of pace/lull game, leading to put a way winners. Could not win against Lendl in the slams.

Don't know why nobody has commented on this yet, but the angle of your shoulders needs to point upwards more so that you can really hit up on the ball.

Compare the angle of your shoulders in the preparation to that of Sampras. Yours are pretty much parallel to the court, while his are almost pointing straight up.

Now I know it's not realistic to expect everyone to achieve this level of tilt, but you need to get your hitting shoulder much lower than your left one. Even Murray, who possesses one of the flattest first serves in the business, has a significant shoulder tilt upwards.

Also notice how much more rotation they are getting than you. Sampras' back is almost completely facing his opponent. Now again, Sampras is the extreme, but you need much more rotation if you want to take your serve to the next level.

should i keep my heels off the ground as much as possible?

Yes, you don't want to be caught flat footed. It doesn't matter if you are in a match and aren't 90% of the time because the 10% could be the points that matter and you could be screwed.
