Yes you would think , but if your a person who has a tendency to hit your natural forehand just a bit long and then you Try to revamp the stroke with even more spin but still are not quite coming up with a personalized swing stroke that’s comfortable then you may wanna try going an inch or half inch choked up on the handle , I personally never felt comfortable choking up as I lost the bottom feel where cap meets handle . I did however find that 90 % of those shots while choked up did go in with the exact same swing as before . So.. that’s when surgery began.I would think the exact opposite. Shorter players need all the help they can get for power and leverage hince an extended length frame. Cutting a frame down to 26" or 25.5" is extremely bizarre. Kinda ruins the frame esp if it's a classic. To each their own I suppose.
Just another option for maybe someone that technically is quite sound in mechanics and footwork but comes up a bit to long in the tooth if ya will. Or better yet too long and over the lines .. what good is a classic racket or any racket for that matter if you don’t care to sell it ever and you actually wanna play tennis with it . Well I say be creative with with tension , or lead weight , or different strings all together . But when all else fails ..... there is the surgery
