Pro Kennex Kinetic warranty - anyone had success?

Some of these rackets can have loose kinetic bearing @ about 12 o'clock area of the racket. Has anyone successfully claimed warranties from TW for a replacement or refund?

Thanks

I've had this happen to me on two ki15s where the racket would make a loud noise whenever I hit the ball real hard at the 12 o'clock area.

Ok, then I suppose you are aware that every Kinetic racquet makes a sand-like sound and that this particular noise you are referring to is vastly different from that.

I have owned about 10 Kinetic racquets but this never happened to me. But there was a time one of my racquets cracked. I sent it into the dealer from which I bought the racquet, and I promptly received a warranty replacement.

So give warranty a try.

Usually, when it sounds as if the "loose" part is in the head, it is actually in the handle. PK has replaced rackets for me before, but that was before their restructuring. Their customer service USED TO BE the best in the business. Now, it's tough to get a live person on the phone. In the past, you call, get a Return Authorization number, mail it back. 4-6 weeks later, you get your new racket (if it had something wrong with it). They are based in California, so make sure you have the correct time zone you are calling. Otherwise, return it to the place you bought it. They can usually help. Maybe PK is only dealing with its authorized vendors now.

Another merchant took mine back and sent me a new one within days. I would have purchased from TW but they were out of stock, and sometimes you can't wait.
